SQUARE DANCING

(American Eagle Denim Shirt, Forever 21 Skirt, Hue Tights, Trouve Boots, Vintage Necklace)
I have lusted desperately for a denim shirt for years. Well maybe not years, but ever since they started popping up in specifically every magazine or catalogue I swept through. They just seemed so versatile in my eyes! And when I finally bought one, the heavens sang from above and I realized that denim shirts really are so versatile. I can wear it as a jacket type thing, a shirt, or even a head piece. Well, maybe not a head piece.

PRINTS GO BAM

(Velvet Cardigan, H.I.P Tank, Eight Sixty Skirt, Hue Tights, Steve Madden Flats, Urban Outfitters Rings
I love the print and color of this shirt mainly because they're loud and I'm, well, loud. I think that fashion and style should let someone's personality shine through. It's a great way of letting people know what they're in for. For example, when I wear this shirt, the librarian likes to send me on my merry way before I can get three (very audible and quite loud) words in.

AND THE WIND CAME SWEEPING IN

(Forever 21 Dress and Sunglasses, J.Crew Cardigan, CVS Tights, Blowfish Wedges, Vintage Rings and Bracelets)
I am secretly a little girl. I love twirly and poofy dresses and walking around my room in high heeled shoes. And guess what? Here we have a lovely twirly dress, that the wind likes to twirl unfortunately. But it still reminds me of childhood summers and the not so childhood exclusive sunburns. To block my eyes from the unfortunate rays of sun, I have my glorious Ryan Gosling glasses. They are glorious. And were six dollars. Glorious sunshine. Glorious.

TEDDY BEAR

(BDG. Sweaterdress, Lily White Skirt, Jason Wu for Target Cardigan, Hue Tights, Aldo Booties, Tiffany & Co. Charm
March is finally here, thank God, which means this may be the last you see of thick tights and piles of sweaters. But, knowing Chicago (and my unnecessary hoard of sweaters), it's probably a long shot. Seems fit that I would pile two sweaters one on top of another for this post. Hopefully, the leaves will turn green soon, and I won't have to write the word 'sweater' four times in one post.
Also, how do you like the blog redesign? We're working on fixing up Blues and Shoes a little, so bear with us if anything looks a little odd. ;)
