FEATURE:CLARA

(Forever 21 Top, American Eagle Outfitters Skirt, Vintage Shoes, Calvin Klein Socks)
If there's one thing we like, it's mixing opposites to create something new and unexpected. Clara's cool mix of grunge and girly was no exception. She's made us fall in love with lace-up boots even more than we had before. She was so much fun to shoot, too. People with good style and a sense of humor will always rank high in our books.

FEATURE: FIONA

(Urban Outfitters Top and Skirt, Vintage Boots, Gifted Ring, Lenscrafter's Glasses)
Mixing prints looks really great when it's done right, like Fiona did here. She kept it really simple with tall boots and hardly any jewelry, and we loved it! She always knows how to strike the perfect balance between stylish and casual, which we envy almost as much as her gorgeous hair. This girl always seems to know just how to get it right.

FEATURE : CHARLOTTE

(Urban Outfitters Top, Abercrombie Jeans, Ray-Ban Sunglasses, Francesca's Collections Ring, Vintage Sandals)
Isabelle's friend Charlotte is in town from Switzerland for the week. You can credit her for the amazing pictures in the last two posts! Having her here has been great, and her style has certainly evolved since they met in kindergarten. We love her bright jeans and her cool accessories. It's going to be so sad to see her go tomorrow!

FEATURE: ALEXANDRA

(Urban Outfitters Cardigan, American Eagle Shorts, Forever 21 Top and Necklace, Aldo Shoes)
Why are shorts and tights so controversial? Lots of people hate the combination, while we lurv it. Especially the way Alexandra wore them here. We find her très ballerina dancer chic with the pretty lace, tights, and jazz shoes. The umbrella was necessary since Chicago has had no idea what kind of weather it likes this year. It's freezing and rainy one day and 60 degrees the next. That explains the umbrella. But not the weather. There is no reason in weather. Sorry meteorologists.

FEATURE: KATIE

(LF Jeans, Anthropologie Sweater, JCrew Belt and Socks, Madewell Boots, Vintage Shirt and Necklace)
We love a mixture of vintage and modern and a contrast in sizes. Katie's oversized cardigan and skinny jeans give a great contrast. Animal print is always tricky to work with because a little goes a long way, but this particular animal print is slightly more abstract than the classic leopard print.

Feature: Marissa

(Vintage sweater, Madewell shirt, American Eagle jeans, Bloomingdale's boots, Gifted earrings, Paul Smith glasses)

Few things pair better together than preppy and vintage. We saw Marissa in this great U.S. Navy sweater and hipster glasses and stuck her right in front of the camera. A few shots later and we were sure that she needed to take us thrift shopping at some point. She knows all the best spots, even if she won't admit it.

Feature: Grace

(J.H Collectibles sweater, Aritzia skirt, Topshop shoes, Tiffany & Co. necklace)

Our gorgeous friend Grace showed up looking like everything we love: preppy, edgy and colorful. Once we laid eyes on her outfit, it came to us: features. In the future, we will be featuring people we see at school rocking their casual attire, or just on the street looking exceptionally excellent. Grace is our lucky first official feature, absolutely and positively working her navy blue rib-knit, hot pink pleats, and floral Mary Janes (so adorable we cannot even handle it).

HOLIDAY WISHES!

A little holiday cheer from Snoopy and Woodstock! Our friend Zoe owns this marvelous Christmas sweater and we figured it would be perfect for a holiday feature. We wish you all a fantastic holiday season and a great new year.

(Sweater from Ebay, Gap jeans, Converse sneakers)
(Jolt Jeans, dElia's shirt, gifted flannel top, Bloch flats, Nordstrom earrings)
